Mounting frames for attaching units and cable harnesses are used to transport pre-assembled chassis modules (e.g. front and rear axle modules) from axle assembly to final assembly. They ensure that the modules arrive safely and in the correct alignment. The mounting frame keeps the chassis stable while it is connected to the body during the marriage. Once the chassis is fully bolted to the body, they are detached from the vehicle and returned to the start of the assembly line.
